Alan McManus started at Garner High School as a defensive lineman. He is expected to compete at long snapper and linebacker at Catawba.

Holt Raines
Tight End : 6'5 225

Holt Raines is a tight end from Rosewood High School.

Dustin Craft
Linebacker : 6'1 200

Dustin Craft is a 6'1 200 pound linebacker from Carson High School. As a junior, Craft made 145 tackles and All-North Piedmont Conference honors in Carson's first year of existence.

Kewone Harris
Linebacker : 6'1 195
Kewone Harris tackles anything that moves. As a senior linebacker at Webb High School, Harris accounted for 171 tackles, 2 sacks, an interception, and three fumble recoveries. Harris played a leading role in Webb's special season that ended in the state semifinals when they fell to Dudley 14-6. In the postseason, Harris' defense only allowed 12.3 points per game.

Kenneth Boulware
Defensive Back : 5'10 185
Kenneth Boulware played on both sides of the ball for Butler in 2007, but his home turf is defense. Boulware always made plays for Butler when his team needed him the most. Whether it was taking a handoff for 34 yards when star quarterback Jacob Charest went down with a knee injury for a couple of plays or if it was when he intercepted passes and took them for touchdowns - Boulware did it all.

Bobby Morrison
Running Back : 5'8 189
Bobby Morrison capped off a spectacular 2007 season by earning the Offensive MVP in the 71st annual North Carolina-South Carolina Shrine Bowl game.
Morrison rushed for over 1,900 yards in his senior season. He scored 47 touchdowns in his last two seaons at West Iredell. South Rowan coach Jason Rollins told his defense before playing West Iredell and Morrison, "Guys, it's gonna happen. He's going to big-play you one time tonight."

East Rowan linebacker Aaron Trexler said after playing against Morrison, "Once he gets up a head of steam, it's over..."

Princeton Brooks
Running Back : 6'0 187
Princeton Brooks ran for over 2,400 yards in a senior season that saw North Gaston appear in the 4A North Carolina State Championship game. At 6'0 187 pounds, Brooks possesses a break-away threat every time he touches the football. To give just a glimpse of the season this running back had, he scored seven touchdowns in a single game against Gastonia Huss. Brooks wanted to make a statement after his team fell short a week prior to Charlotte Catholic. Another standout performance for Brooks in his 2007 campaign was when he rushed for a school-record 306 yards on 16 carries, 19.1 yards per attempt, caught a 15-yard pass, and scored five touchdowns in a 51-12 slaughter of Bessemer City.

Chris Enos
Defensive End : 6'4 237
Chris Enos is listed as a two-star prospect on Rivals.com and was receiving interest from many Division I-A schools, such as Clemson and Louisville. As a sophomore, he recorded 75 tackles and six sacks for Grays Creek High School. Enos played in only eight games in his junior season because of injury, but still accounted for 74 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, and nine sacks.
